Five years later, at thetime of the 1 9 April 1910 US census, he and his wife Jeanette (Durand)were living wi th their two daughters Evelyn and Florence at a rentedhouse at Number 3 50, 38th Street in North Milwaukee Village . Helisted his occupation a s Iron Worker at the Wisconsin Bridge Works. Hehelped build St. Joseph' s Hospital and the big bridge that crossedWisconsin Ave in Milwaukee.

He was living alone at the rear of 935 Ninth Street in the city ofMilwa ukee in January 1920 a little more than a year after his firstwife Jenn y Durand died.
